I was kind of assuming that the "if you took it by accident" bit was a way to allow the thief to save face in case they had a change of heart (or sobered up) after intentionally stealing the bike. One of those convenient social fictions that maintains group morale in the face of an unpleasant reality...

hey guys, yo good lookin on all the support. im gunna try to save my cannondale and do the singlespeed thing for a while..
i will post up a picture of my bike as soon as i can figure out how to make a smaller pic even tho i havent taken any recent pics of it.
it's a new KHS Flite 100 with cut bars way to the grips. (punishment bars) grey kashimax saddle, black mavic rim on the back with silver brake lining, black rim on the front. soma tire on the back with white stripe. two white spoke cards in the back, 3m reflective barpad, big KHS across it, LOS ANGELES sticker on the headtube. black short sthreadles salsa stem and white grips.

That shit should be pretty easy to spot on the oft-chance it ever makes its way up here.
There's only one other guy I know up here that rides a fixed-gear, and he's never been down to any F.U.N.-inspired events as of yet.
