Looking for a frame *help*

Im looking for a frame that Im able to put gears on. I currently have a single speed that can be turned into a fixed gear rim. but I dont like riding fix. So I have a set of wheels for a road bike and im looking for a frame any one selling one? or plan on trowing it away :)

what kind of frame do you ride currently? make and model please.

long story short I was more into BMX then bike got stolen then I got into riding road bike. currently im riding a blank frame really its a fixed fram from what people have told me. the back rim im able to flip it to make it fixed or single gear. i own a Orange 1972 Varsity Schwinn w/ all complete original parts :)

i dont ride that Schwinn after I got rear ended by some girl who wasnt paying attention the stop signs around my neighborhood.

well, you can either flip your wheel over and ride a single speed or you can buy a new frame and a new rear wheel and some front and rear derailleurs and scrap everything from the old bike into the new one. or you buy a complete bike off cl for cheap or build a different one up at the oven or kitchen or something.

Im looking to get a new frame. I have an extra pair of rims that I bought that I want to put them on. I know Im not scrapping the old bike at all. It was my fathers :) Original rims still on the crome on them is falling but yeah other than that Im looking for a frame I can put my new rims on :)

you can't put a rear wheel with a cassette in that bike. the spacing between the dropouts would be too small.
check craigslist for road frames or better yet, go to the bicycle kitchen. you can put a road bike together there and learn all about your bike and how to maintain it.

oh yeah I know I cant put the back rim in there it wont fit. I knwo that much :) Yeah I guess I head over there on my free time. but Im still looking for a frame though. Will I find one there?

you can always just buy a bike for cheep off there and take off all the parts if you dont want them.
