I'm not sure how many people are coming out for the SWARM THE PIER ride, but I know that the very nature of Ridazz is that something about it attracts a lot of newcomer cyclists and folks who haven't gotten on their bikes in a while. This is both the best thing about Midnight Ridazz and one of the more dangerous aspects especially for people new to the concept of riding in the streets.
Please, if you are new to riding or haven't done it in a while, be cautious and alert about your surroundings and of other Ridazz on the road. Be especially aware of stop lights and cars.... contrary to previous rides We are attempting to obey all traffic laws. there will be no corking. That means there will be a lot of stopping so be cautious of the Ridazz in front of you.....

CALL OUT STOPS AND TURNS
A simple "pothole to the right pass it back!" or "stop ahead!!" can really really make the difference for someone who's mind may have drifted off to a conversation with another super sexy Rida etc....
NO RIDA LEFT BEHIND MEANS HAVE A SUPORT SYSTEM IN PLACE
Keep in touch with a buddy, make new friends, click up with a small cluster of Ridazz. These are the aquaintences that will save you and keep you company while you fix a flat. Bring extra tubes, tools, a pump and a flat fix kit. If you see a lone stranded Rida stop by and make a new friend.
COMMUNITY SHAMING
As funny as this sounds it can be quite effective when it comes to curbing the bad behaviour of knuckheaded Ridazz.... If you see some knucklehead throwing bottles or trashor causing problems with motorists just simply BOO That person for being a drag.
STAY TO THE RIGHT.
We get one entire lane to the right. The path mostly rolls on 3 lane streets. We can take up the right most lane that isn't a parking lane or right hand turn lane. This will usually mean we stay in the second lane. We want to avoid weaving around parked cars and weaving from one lane to another. Cars are to pass on the left most lane.
VENICE TRAFFIC CIRCLE
My personal favorite part of the ride is going to be the "round about" traffic circle by main and windward in venice. The route calls for circling it 3 times before you move on.... I'm secretly planning to circle it as many as 5 or 6 times! Shhhhhhhh

Yeah, what the roadblock said!
And don't forget the lights on your bike.
Corking was the most interesting part of Ridazz, but there are just gonna be too many people.

Yeah, man . . . I hope everyone pays attention this!
One other thought: sounds like fun, but unless the numbers are small it would appear to me that if Ridazz are circling the roundabout repeatedly it's going to cause a huge bottleneck for the approaching cyclists and the whole thing will grind to a halt - gridlock on a bike!
