there's a football team called the cardinals? that's the worst name for a football team i've ever heard. cardinals are tiny. they are squishable.

and why would you say that kut warners gonna crumble under pressure? hes proven throughout his career that he can perform well in big games, including his super bowl win with the rams and throughout this postseason.

Even after skimming this thread, I don't know who's playing... other than the cardinals... who I never heard of until just now (and I still don't know which city they're from). Sometimes, I have to think for a second to remember which sport the Super Bowl refers to.
I do wish I had some beer and nachos though.

I bet if the super bowl referred to curling, canadienne would know what's up!
Curling! The most whacked out sport I've ever seen! I wish I was there when they discovered curling.
Hey let's make a sport out rolling this rock on ice!
Yeah! That sounds awesome!!

+1 Mr. Rollers.
Curling is pretty wack. But so much so that you kind of gotta love it.
As for the hockey comment... it is by far a superior sport, but that is not to say that I would make a Sunday out of watching it either.
Bleh I need to get out and ride.

Let's get out and make a Sunday out of watching recorded cycling events from the Olympics.

Not long after gaining the franchise, McBride named Ohio State Buckeyes coach Paul Brown as vice president, general manager and head coach. The franchise conducted a team naming contest in 1945. The most popular submission was "Browns" in recognition of Paul Brown, already an established and popular figure in Ohio sports. Brown at first objected to the name and the team selected from the contest entries the name "Panthers." However, after an area businessman informed the team that he owned the rights to the name Cleveland Panthers from an earlier failed football team, Brown rescinded his objection and agreed to the use of his name.[2]

I want the Steelers to win, but I've been wrong the last 4 years. I'm in the pool at work so I really just want some money.

I'm rooting for the Steelers 'cuz I'm from PA, and my daddy's got money on 'em. Otherwise, I'd have no inclination. I still can't watch the game, as I am TV-less. But I can root nonetheless.

You're not watching the game? Bruce Springsteen is quarterbacking the Steelers cause the original quarterback got hurt. The steelers are down 10 to 42.
