Hello, I am new to this forum but nowhere near new to cycling. Me and my friends are running this myspace page to try to find this person called TV MAN who used to run around the streets, rallys, punk shows, and a bunch of other things with an old television for a head. We have been searching for him for about 3 years now without a trace.
Recently one of our supporters called Diego, who I believe rides with you guys once in a while on a paint splatter design white bike, was riding along a Memorial Day parade and snapped a couple pics of someone we think may be TV MAN.
I was scheduled to go to the Spring Thing on Sunday but for whatever reason I was super late and Paul told me he saw TV MAN and that there were lots of pictures taken. I know im a stupid person on hipster time, but we really need as much help as we can get.
I took a lot of pictures of some of you cool cats while I was there though, and I handed the memory card to Paul from Atomic Cycles, but I was really hoping to get my own shots of TV MAN.
If anyone hears of anything or has any info or stuff about TV MAN, can they please get it to us whenever possible? It feels like he's so close and we really want to figure out what this dude is up to.
Yeah TV Man rocked! Tried to talk to him, but he didn't say a word. He was funny though. Chicken Leather broke his tuning knob, but we fixed it and it's good as new!
I forgot who I was talking to...but I mentioned that I didn't recognize the shoes so I didn't know who it was....same shoes at the parade as at choppercabras.
TV MAN it was sooooooooo cool to see you again today! We missed you after we rolled into the VA. Things were a bit chaotic when we rolled up. I hope they didn't apprehend you and send you off to Gitmo!
BTW, we do a little ride at the end of the month every once in awhile to get batteries and electrical stuff on the cheap. Battery Swapmeet, we can find you a cheap little 5v fan and a battery pack for your head so you have some ventilation if you like. the inside of his screen looked muggy and full of condensation. plus he doesnt have ANY vents (look at the pictures) aside from the ones that come from the tv which i dont think are made to bring air in, only let out.
personally I dont wanna find out who TV MAN is, if that means taking his "head" off in order to resuscitate him! Summer is right around the corner! GET A VENT!

He does have the area where the speaker was for an intake and the vent on top but I was talking to him about the vents myself and how he should add more but i think he's got it under control.
About him being at bikerowave....
He started at Crank Mob park w/ Brad and that group to meet up w/ MR ALC. We stopped at Bikerowave before ALC... that's where you saw him. He bounced after getting to westwood.
I posted a pic of this dude at the ALC 8 ride.
Freaking badass.
When i first saw him there was condensation on the inside of the tube!!
He was rockin that Apollo 5 bike too!
wtf? was all this at the VA center? damn, such sick shots! was his dancing of an inferior quality? did he talk to anyone? i hate weekend work schedules.
Yeah, he does have a way to cool off: he pours sweat! And what's more, he had his fist raised nearly the entire day, as we were riding. I dont know how he keeps the blood from draining out of his arm. That guy is something else.
No one wrote on him. That's how he showed up. The dude is rad! His head is going to melt this summer. :-( He was getting all fogged up in there and you could see the drops of sweat dripping out of the head.

Here's TV guy chillen right before we headed out to ALC.... we were talking about the valley and stuff... then had a staring contest... and then shared a good laugh...

Now... click on "profoscurity" profile and go to his myspace page. Looks like theres a tv guy on the scrolling pics he has. Also... you go and click the link below... you see that this guy has something similar to what's hanging around tv guys neck less one trinket.

italicized because they arent my words. i got them from an anonymous source, who will remain anonymous until they want to be un-anonymous. the last picture doesnt work anymore because tvman justino is afraid of midnight ridazz detective skills.
I work fulltime dude. I already told u guys. unless this were on a weekday and ended before 5:00PM I couldn't even show up if I wanted to. plus school just ended yesterday for me.

My job is to find that which is obscure, but at the same time profound as well. In this quest to find the world's most profound obscurities, I have found it a task to find this TV Headed individual or individuals if these two end up being completely different people all together.
profoscurity was responding to the conversation above. If you read the whole thread you'll see it makes sense.
You guys don't have anything better to do than bust someone's balls for having an alt-ego? I could see if it was some lame ass ego, but the dude is rad. Give him his 15 minutes of fame and stop fucking it up for everyone. If it is him or not, what do you achieve?

I saw this guy at Splash Mob. I had no idea he is so notorious. There's no missing someone with a TV on their head all day. I asked him if wearing the TV hurt his neck he replied with a muffled "yes". It's still cool though.
This will be my next ride I plan: all ridazz must wear tv's on their heads, just like tv man. He will probably show up, then he can lead the ride. Everyone down??
