There is so much to say about Paul. So so much that he has done for the community as a whole and so much personnel work he has done for me at the most reasonable price.

I will start with my favorite and most notable to mention.
I think those that know this like to ignore it.
When the original organizers of Midnight Ridazz didn't like all of the new people coming to the rides, and did what it could to discourage them from attending again. Paul told them to F---- off (i'm paraphrasing) and vowed never to come another Midnight Ridazz ride again. To this day he never been back.

To you Rev 106. The same bike ride you rejected for it's nose in the air exclusive attitude is now honoring you as it Rida of the Month.

no to get off topic cause Paul is rad.

but I remember that ride. but I guess you were on of the people who took it the wrong way... the ride the month before was getting massive and violent and unhappy... so The organizers took a break for one month... what would you do? and what exactly was it that the organizers did to discourage riders from coming out again? cause maybe you remember the next ride was promoted just the same using the same list, same start, same 2nd friday and open invite.... I do remember hearing that a lot of people got all conspiratorial and talked a bunch of shit like it was their right to have skull and her crew plan out meticulous rides for them every month.. I guess you were one of them?

and the no-ride flyer was sent out to everyone and they told people to ride anyway and promoted it to the same list and in fact people did come out and ride... and the next month continued with more great concepts there after.... why would they continue to promote it with the same list with the same dedication if they didnt want people to show up?I can see being dissappointed but to talk shit about something that takes a lot of volunteer work and planning and personal cost?

Paul's been riding for quite some time. And he's quite a character to talk with. Doesn't mince words and doesn't bullshit. He's a great guy, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, gets high on life I guess (unless he's been totally bullshitting me all this time). One of the nicest guys I know.

He runs a nice bike shop, do him a favor and buy something when you drop in. He does good work and his prices for labor and parts are the best.

And his opinions about the Ridazz original rationales are maybe mellowing with age, or maybe not. Who cares, I know Paul doesn't.

Congrats Paul!!!

Well deserved nomination. You pretty much singlehandedly put Fluffaville on the map, and for that you should get major props. You got your hands in alot of really cool shit too. Love how the SFVISBF has progressed into this total awesomeness. All you youngsters out there need to take a look at the videos posted on MR and on the site linked above. It'll blow ur mind! Do a search on MR for SFVISBF and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Questions Questions Questions Questions ..............

You remember your first bike? Wish you had it? What was it?
I know there's people helping you run all the crap you, care to give them a shout out?
It was great seeing Tick One yesterday, are you guys ever going to join us again for LACM? Shit ain't the same without you guys!
Have you ever had art classes?
What's the worst you ever got pissed at someone?
Are you a reverend too? Or does "rev" mean something else? What's with the sign in name? Do explain.

First bike: metallic purple huffy with banna seat and tassles on the handle bars. By the time I sold it for 12 bucks it was some bmx thing painted with brown house paint.

Nathan from Natan's Tattoo helps with food, the rest I pretty much do on my own. I get some people to help pack it in each time, but the creation and set up is a one man deal. I've had some help building the spools of Doom from my freind JD sansever, otherwise I make all those crappy tall bikes and ram bikes.

LACM has turned into some lame party ride, like most rides nowadays.. So taking an hour off work to stand in a 7-11 parking lot on the west side is not worth it anyomre.

art classes? I took ceramics a couple of times...but no, my drawing suck all on their own...

Pissed at someone during one of my events? I guess that kid Phillip, he's gone due to his actions he could have ruined everything.

Yeah, I'm a "reverend" haha, you know you'll get 2 bucks off at disneyland? I did it as a joke, I'm a dyed in the wool atheist.

lots of people talk shit about how this or that should be done.
the rev just DOES IT with his own flava no matter how absurd or offensive it may seem to the uninitiated. I never hear people complaining about choppercabre events ... probally because they know he does not give a fuck about your petty complaints.

rev 106 is exactly the kind of person most people are gonna disagree with strongly at some point.

but thats why we love him ... cause he comes with the realness. ftw.

The next thing I'm really pumped about is the coaster brake challenge, if you can you should make it out and do some races. Lots of fun.

The first Halloween ride (our oldest ride) was a on the fly sort of thing. It was halloween and we were all at one of the members houses in Simi Valley, where I spent a good 1/2 of my childhood. We had been building custom bikes for about a year then and decided to go for a ride, there were 8 people. We went along and sure enough got the attention of the local police. So after that I decided to put on a halloween ride every year and a year after the second one (onlt 12 people showed up) we started doing the spring ride. The third ride I had about 70 people and we met at my house and then rolled down the street for a demo derby, that was 2002 or 2003. We did those for a couple of years until I opened up Atomic Cycles in 2004. I'd say you're seeing the events at thier wildest right now.
I spent a lot of time going up north kicking the crap out of Cyclecide in SF. Doing a lot of tall bike jousting and seeing what kind of events they did was a good influence. We had this whole SF/LA rivalry going on. I beat all of them in tall bike jousting, got my cartelige torn off my sternum and learned a lot. The ram bike came out of this conflict. At the end of thier events they did the "Mosh Pit of Wrecklessness" where everybody rode around in a circle and caused havoc. One of my freinds, the B who does Chicken-Head Records Zine with me said I should make a bike with a cow-catcher on it. We made the bike and kept it hidden until the end. Once we brought them out, we tacoed all of thier wheels! After that the rivalry got pretty heated, we were out for blood. It's all good now though.

I guess I should add how we got into building bikes. We were all hesser kids riding our bmx bikes and then one day after band practice me and the guitar player made a chopper bike. It was ugly: a girls bike with clouds on the banna seat and was a bunch of different colors. I brought it to the our weekly bmx/metal riding session and they all clowned me. Then we rode and I was getting comments by ladies that saw us, so of course all of my freinds wanted a chopper as well....

Paul really deserves this, make sure it extends until the end of the coater brake challenge. You fixed my brake at critical mass and it completely changed my life. I was studying engineering and thought, i should know how to do this and he made it so simple. Now I'm at bike oven and little by little i started to learn more stuff and now profecient enough to teach certain things to people. I keep this place going, which brings people together and that in the bigger sense is whats important and the only other person i knonw that understands this is Paul . Thanks paul. This coaster brake challenge is going to be epic. He also helped us built the tire holders on the ceiling. they are working well!
