1. Psychological issues unique to Da Life; "baggage".

So why is it that people use "Ebonics"when speaking like gangsters?The largest "Gang"population is in the Latino community.One should use words like "Homes","Vato",or my favorite;"Ese".The reality is...most gangsters in the hood speak "Spanglish".A good way to tell if they are "Gangster" is the use of the word,Al aye;translation L.A. The real problem is all the under aged drinking that goes on,on these rides.Oops did I say that.God forbid we get to the core of the problem.
The only people speaking like gangsters on the rides are the under-18 crowd. Children. If I'm on a ride and I hear somebody talking tough, I'll always look behiind me to see some baby-faced boy (who is on a BIKE RIDE, no less) who thinks he's such tough shit. It's both hilarious and depressing. On LACM last night, I heard somebody talking tough, and I looked over and it was a very young kid, probably about 13. And he was white. Wow.
Even when these boys are trying to be gangsta, I feel uncomfortable around them, like I should be babysitting them, watching my language, and not doing anything illegal (like enjoying a beer etc.) . . . it also makes me wonder what their parents are thinking, either letting their kids come on these rides, or not being attentive enough parents to follow up on whatever it is their kid SAYS they're doing that night. Drinking, drugs, and a mob mentality that makes some riders feel bold enough to fight with drivers? Not a good environment for the kiddos.
