HEY GUYS I'M HAVING MY NEXT ART GALLERY FOR THE NEXT ART WALK. NEXT MONTH.
I'M TAKING SUBMISSIONS FOR ANY ARTIST THAT WOULD WANNA DISPLAY THEIR WORK.
THERE IS A $45 HANGING FEE.

no percentage from sales or commission,

45 dollar hanging fee, and no percentage to the artist for their work if you sell it, so basically you're taking 45 dollars for any artwork put into the show, then if the piece sells you're not going to give the artist anything? I think that's what trickmilla is saying sounds terrible.
Art is not free. Art is not free to produce, materials cost money, time is valuable, and the effort that goes into it is WORK.
Do you like working then having to pay someone else for your own work, then receive nothing in return? Because that's what you're asking here.

I think what he meant was that he didnt take any percentage.

I think what he means by no % on sales is that he is not taking any addition fee on top of the hanging fee if he does sell work. IMO that is a fair proposition from a gallery.

you art cost 6000 you keeep the 6000 i don't take anything lol
