I don't mean to talk shit here... but this ride is just asking for it. The cops will be all over your ass on sunset especially if you start running reds (which always happens on CM). They have a lot of calls to deal with on the strip and they aren't going to be happy about having to deal with a mob of bikes.

After that the posting says they are going to ride the grove no pussies allowed. That whole spot was burned months ago when a few guys got tackled off their bikes riding through the grove on LACM/PEOPLES RIDE.

I'm all for making a scene for the masses of cars sitting in rush hour traffic at 11pm so they can find a place to park and go stand in line for some horrible club.... but this will almost certainly result in some people getting tickets and maybe even one of those 16 cop-car powwows where everyone gets to sit in the curb for an hour.

Just my opinion...

Is this happening the same night as regular LA Critical Mass at Wilshire and Western? I'd rather attend the regular Critical Mass. West Hollywood is too hot and those sheriffs are too nasty.

I biked to a show at the Key Club once. It wasnt that bad, but there were only two of us. I'd like to go cruising with all the cars.

No fixies unless you know how to trackstand AND look behind you at the same time.

biking up sunset alone is not the same as riding with 50 other bike riders. but good luck. hope everything goes well! i hate riding west hollywood after that one LACM when we rode the grove. weho is a no go for me.

The Strip has been done before, on several Hollywood ridazz rides like a year and a half ago.

Usually the cops dont do to much, they're either stuck in traffic, or have better things to deal with.

The Grove however, tht is a DUMB Idea. PPP and the Grove have been burned out for a while, although maybe it's been long enough, I dunno, be careful.
