High IQ "societies" (such as this, or MENSA) are funny, they're essentially a circle-jerk for "smart" people. I always wondered why these groups, since they're full of "smart" people, don't actually produce anything useful.
Free IQ tests are cool tho'.

I googled for the answers to factual questions I didn't know and guessed randomly on the graphical ones and managed a 133. No IQ test with factual questions or vocabulary questions is actually testing intelligence. I neglected to see if they offered answers on the results page, so that you could go back and reverse engineer the solution. My guess is that they randomly select a certain percentage to receive a score above their limit in the hope that they'll sign up.

peh. Guessed around a third of them, got 123. That's one of the most poorly written IQ tests I've seen in a while though. The ones on Facebook are better.

I made a similar statement once at a previous (dead end) job, only to find out that one of the co-workers who was listening was the head of the local Mensa chapter. Awkward.
It's sad. IQ and $4 might get you a cup of coffee, it's what you do with it that counts.

Good fucking lord this is a stupid test. Intelligence is apparently not a scalar quantity, but a poorly-executed and unnecessary 3-D chart. Seriously, whose brilliant idea was that? Are they trying to attract smart people or illustrate an article for USA Today?
