Angelino's on Lankershim just south of Moorpark. If you are nice he will make you some recipies that are not listed on the menu. Pizza is more authentic than american style. Thin crust is my fav and he uses marscapone cheese on some pizza's. This sunday he made us some "mama's special pasta". INSANE!!!! The cheese he uses is the REAL FUCKING DEAL!!! He doesn't speak englich that well, so it helps to take someone fluent in Italian.

Its owned by the world famous Farrars of Little Itally New york and they have fresh cannoli's flown out for their pizzeria.
If you have not had this pizza, you should. I personally think it tastes better when you order by the slice.

wrong answer, ojai pizza is overpriced garbage.
bocallis in the east end is wayyyyyyyy better. the one in oak view sucks.
the dominoes in meiners oaks is great, because if you call for delivery and ted harvey is working, he will pick you up a six pack and deliver it with your pizza.
the best pizza in la is at il capriccio on hollywood and vermont.
How weird. I was going to also post Danielle's Woodfired Pizza when I saw this thread's title and I just came from there several hours ago. That pizza is freakin' delicious.

Joe Peep's is excellent, there's no denying that. I live right down the block.
BUT. If you don't like that greasy, oozy, cheeeeeese and thick crust, then go to Danielle's. It's a special LA recipe.
Mulberry Street Pizza is the best. There are a few throughout LA, I go to the one by Ventura and Balboa in the Valley. Their eggplant parmesan pizza is my favorite.
Folliero’s in Highland Park is one of my favorite places to eat. I like their pasta/dinner meals (pizza is good too)… how cheap?
They don’t really take reservations but were VERY nice to me when my 15 person dinner turned into 30 person dinner. It was my birthday and I looked like a panda -------->
so they let us take over the restaurant.
I don’t recommend going in a big group, just an example of how nice everyone is. I think this place is cash only
I spent 6 months and Chicago and never found any mind-blowing pizza. Went to all the hyped spots too. That deep dish stuff is pretty fucking delicious, but New York's thin-crust... dayum. Amazing.
No worries… I go there pretty often with neverclever but we tend to stick with eggplant parmesan + sausage pizza (i think.. i am forgetful, he places the order most of the time ahah) their other pizzas are just OK to me, this is the only combo i like

Jimmy, the owner of Danielle's Pizza, is going to be hiring soon because I have to leave for school in San Francisco.
SO, if you live in the valley (studio city, valley village, north hollywood, sherman oaks, that general area..) and you'd have a car available for deliveries then stop by and make friends with him. It's a perfect job.
Not to mention, free pizza slices for you whenever you feel hungry. Dig?
If you're interested, stop by, maybe drop off a resume and chat with Jimmy. He's a real nice guy. My last day is next Friday, so he'll need someone soon.
