Peugeot aren't that bad. Actually I never really had a problems with the ones I tinkered with.
I had this Motorbecane or Gitane. I think it was a Motorbecane tandem made in the 80's that thing had the weirdest oddest bolt sizes, it made me very thankful for the uniformity of 4-5-6 mm allen wrench fittings. I had to pull out some odd sized wrench to work on it. The bolt for the seat post I remember specifically was 7/32

east side love on the east side... great place. they even have jazz dancers and a live band on most nights.
i think they charge $10 tho...
and the cheladas are good.... but any latino knows the best cheladas are the ones made after the soccer games by the soccer players. Get your drink + Clamato = yummy goodness.

I too have disdain for the French. I have never been welcomed warmly in their country. And after last night's soccer match against Ireland, my disdain for them has grown. ((I don't know if any of you watched, but France's player Henri (pronounced, "on-ree", cause the French don't pronounce the "H", they're too good for the letter "H") used his hands to help score a goal))
Lazy, annoying, arrogant, snooty... I could go on and on.
If I were any of you traveling to France, I'd spend another 4-5 hours extra, and go to Beirut!

Hey gais,
I literally just walked in the door from a ride from Amsterdam to Paris, and can say with full confidence that the Netherlands is like Disneyland for anyone on a bike, which there, is everyone. We didn't even have a map the first day and were able to make it to Rotterdam just using the "knoppunt" bike route system posted on the streets. There a bike has at least as much clout as a car. Seriously nasty headwinds all the way to Brussels, but worth it in the end. In A-dam we saw some guy with a fixie and Chrome bag and chased him down; he ended up leading us to bike polo! Miss you all.
So when are we all going back?
