This ride should be pretty good. I've been working on the route since last year (I planned it for the medieval ride) but due to circumstances (and wanting a castle) it had to be put aside.

my first ride was smcm on july 4th. but my first real MR ride was july 5th: WESTSIDE WETSIDE RIDE.
this makes me feel good.

My first ride with the "new" LA bike culture was SMCM/Ride-Arc on April 4, 2008, so I hit one year while we were in San Diego.
It was a mighty fine anniversary.
But anyway, Neverland... This isn't the ride where we all wear one white glove, grab ourselves and pass out cans of Jesus Juice to little children, is it? (insert gratuitous Crank Mob joke here)

Well, there
is a weird parallel between Michael Jackson and Captain Hook that could probably be turned into a costume. I don't know whether I could pull it off, though. It would be like my high school graduation party, where the theme was "western" and I dressed as the police sketch of the Unabomber, because what defines the West better than maniacal weirdos holed up in their cabins plotting the downfall of society? The principal did not appreciate the multiple layers of irony.

I spoke to Fuzz a few weeks ago, and he was still planning on leading the ride. Last I heard, he didn't have much at all in the way of internet access though.
Someone in DTLA bug him to update tonight? I think he's still hanging out with Gopez.
