Help design the new MR

The new MR is going to be focused chiefly on making the calendar much better and more accessible to other apps and websites (rss feed etc) along with some other good stuff. The forum is kinda dead right now but it will still live on as a way to help people plan rides and continue to discover cycling in LA. really excited about the new site and I'm raising money for it as well through the "support" link up top if any of y'all want to help out.
in doing this there will be a new look and feel to go with the site...
want to help design a new color scheme?
use this themeroller to suggest your own color scheme and paste the link in this thread

it's cumming!
well, as long as you stay away from forum-ey type set up and bullshit avatars like all the other bike forums use, i think it will be ok. please stay away from that format!

The new forum is going to be more of an activity feed than a forum. Yes, Like facebook in a way... You can comment on everything. That way rides automatically get started as a forum topic instead of having to create a new tread for each ride... Comment on photos and you will still be able to create topics.
The calendar will finally have ability for auto repeating dates for rides... And like i said integration into iphone calendars etc.
The best part will be the route collaborator and the map view of rides.... Set a date and area radius see what rides/events are where....
Also getting rid of the refresh issue. No more having to reload the entire page.
Everything is going to be implemented piece by piece... Starting small and adding as we go.

I just hope there is a way to vote down or hide the troll dickheads that ruin all the good info. I don't see as much trolling these days, but that's probably because they drove everyone out.

yeah I've been brainstorming that problem.... I think we'll just have to give in and let people moderate their own activities (event posts photos etc.) and perhaps completely block certain people from commenting on your activities.... I really don't want to think that has to be done, but it does.
