i just finished a run from venice past the pier and back. if the light show i saw tonight, is any indication of what to expect on saturday, we are in for a fucking TREAT. it was like the space ship from CLOSE ENCOUNTERS had landed on the beach...INCREDIBLE!!!!!

just wanted to tell you all about some of the movies ABOUT LOS ANGELES playing at the
Then at the 9:30 pm screening tthere are 2 shorts featuring LA. One is by Donny Digital aka RoadBlock aka the guy who runs this site, and another by StudioDrome who recently had a film featured at Sundance.
I hope you can all make it to some of the screenings.. the movies are awesome and you won't see most of them anywhere else ever again. For real.
also - I think people are riding from the movies to Crank Mob.. can Crank Mob start a bit late maybe?

always start a bit late? Even under normal conditions, cycle time is like normal time plus one hour times the square root of riders involved divided by seventy-five pi, or something. CRANK MOB adds another layer to this by just warping space-time outright, such that a stationary observer will see the riders getting progressively younger and more naked over the course of an evening. There's some sort of weird non-Euclidean matrix transformation involved. Don't ask me how it works... I think Knittens is writing his dissertation on it.
Ah, but I digress. Someone will have someone else's phone number. So everyone coming from BFF will still be able to reunite with their BFFs at the MOB. Good times will be had, and then some.
