so i was ridin down the riverbed in Sur Gate close to Imperial Hwy and i had funny pants on all rolled up and it is sprinkling very lightly. the rain on my calves began to burn and every new drop was like caustic laser beams of lava.
There's a bunch of chemical plants there....hmmm. acid rain.
My friend still gets $ from a lawsuit involving a bleach spill in his yard or somethin like that.

I'm no schoolboy, but maybe there was "fouled" exhaust coming from a nearby plant-incinerator and the precipitation carried some of the toxin down from the air.

I've picked up enough loads down there to know how industrialized that place had become.
Just looking at past pictures of the area and stacking them against the present is jaw-dropping.

i thought it had to be a complete chemical reaction for this to happen. like the toxin(s) or agents causing the acidity had to be evaporated and distilled.
