haha, I just figured I'd give other Ridazz the opportunity to roll to the train with us. The long ride across the Valley can get lonely :(

I think some of the Polo players are going to go to the peoples ride after polo. But they are skipping LA Critical Mass.

no! the lifeguard said i was fine, he did not mention that apparently MOST stingray stings do cause infection. So i should've started taking antibiotics, oh, a week ago. The last 3 days it's gotten increasingly worse and today my foot is red, sore and swelling. And i couldn't find a clinic in l.a. that takes walk-ins on a friday. ER visits = too much money. fuck me.

I might ride, but my frackin bottom bracket needs to be replaced too. i'm gonna nap...do you have a crank puller and lockring tool?

Uggh lameness... Shit I have a spare course of antibiotics, but I don't know anything about dosage. Maybe try going to a drug store and asking the pharmacist to write you the standard script for an infection? I know the pharmacy I worked at would do it.
Unfortunately I don't have either of those tools. I wish I did.

Can the pharmacy really write me a prescription? I feel like they would be afraid of insurance liability.

Any licensed pharmacist can write a prescription. I'm just not sure if they'll always be willing.

Woah! In that case I'm going to the pharmacy now! I'll hit up rite aid and if they deny me then walgreens is another block down, someone give me some goddamn drugs already! and by that I do mean antibiotics. It's all I need really, I don't need to see a doctor I already know what's wrong.

with a compromised immune system it is unnecessary to cause excess strain on your body. If you're going to be on antibiotics, i would take a little break.

Actually, that's from an old ride posting, since this is a recycled thread. I'll be riding down Magnolia from Sepulveda in 45 or so.

i have a crank puller, no lockring tool. I heard you can use a screw driver and a hammer to tighten/loosen the lockring........if you wanted to try >.<

...actually, it sounds like something Bludsoe would do in a pinch. It probably would have been safer for me to do that when my lockring was falling off than ride 15-20 miles to the Kitchen with no lockring like I did.

I've done that before! it's a bit time consuming but... desperate times...
I'd use a rubber mallet though, there's no point in possibly having smooshed fingers and an infected foot :(

lol that was pretty funny that i didn't notice the date. ended up taking the orange line, a friend joined me at van nuys-- just hopped on. very convenient.
hope you guys all had a fun safe ride. i ended up stranded in echo park by myself, but managed to find a buddy and then the rite-aid where the people's ride was gathered. pretty intense, but i needed to hitch the red/orange line back before it ended.
how many miles do you guys think we did? it was well over twenty i'd say. especially to echo park. i don't know distances or downtown though.

It's only like three or four miles from the start to Exposition
Park, which the ride seemed to go straight towards. I wasn't on the ride, so I wouldn't know how far ya'll went.
