bike lockers at Union Station

There are twelve, apparently, in two places.
Does anyone know exactly where?
Embarrassed to say I've never used one, but need to park for an extended period. How do they work?
Are the odds good of me finding an open one on a Monday morning at 5AM? Does it cost anything? Can I leave the bike there until Tuesday afternoon?
thanks.

Check the Metro web site.
I think you pay a deposit, and they mail you a key.
This seems like a really good idea, but I always take my bike, so haven't needed to use these lockers yet.

I remembered there's some bike racks at the union station parking lot by the bus transit center on the other side of the union station. That's as far as I can remember.

I had a bike locker at the Burbank stop when I commuted by Metrolink there for work. I kept a bike there overnight and over the weekends as I used the bike to get from the Metrolink train stop to work. I miss that commute!!! I could read or chat with people on the train then top it off with a little ride to work.
Off topic, but I found riding Metrolink *with* a bike was sketchy because of pretty strict limits on how many bikes per train car (2 or 3 bikes on those double-decker carriages capable of carrying well over 100 people!
At the time (years ago) there was a minimum term of 6 months for the locker rental, so they seems the focus of bike lockers is on regular commuters, not for one-time use.
I'd pay a buck or two per day for a for a one or two day locker rental, but I can imagine the administrative headaches for the operating agency for someone who doesn't claim their bike deter cities from offering something like that.
Does the Bike Station in the LBC offer guarded storage of your bike for a fee? If so it's kind of like a one-time use bike locker.
Ride on!

We have two new huge Pentagon shaped (or ogtagon) lockers at the NH Station. They're nice.
