So I’m planning a two part ride for the 13th and 14th and want to see if any one is interested. On the 13th I want to do Big Tujunga and Angeles Crest to Mt. Wilson. On the 14th I want to ride Mulholland and Piuma. The rides will be between 65 and 90 miles. I am very interested to see if there is anyone who wants to ride both days. If there is enough interest I will go ahead and post the rides.

OK forget about stage #2. But Mt. Wilson is on for 10/13/07 7:40 am Hollywood and Western Metro station. Roll at 8 am sharp.

I have found that it is very nice to ride your bicycle in the morning. Plus this way we will be home for lunch.

I can't ride Sat. morning because I teach from 8-12:20 but I can ride Sunday if you decide to do part two.

c'mon wise,
switch 'em. i want mt wilson, but there is the silverlake race tonight and the MASH race tomorrow. I guess that ride is downhill, at 7pm and only 4 miles. It's actually kind of silly, but y'know--we gots to defend our turf from those bay area geeks. anyway, please post whether the sunday ride is off, that way i wont get drunk on friday night.
btw-i didn't know you juggled.

Sorry guys not going to change the ride to Sunday. I will be doing this ride again as well as other interesting rides. Also I will be riding on Sunday so if you just want to jam up some sweet hills that would be cool too.

To those going on the Saturday ride looks like it is going to get up to about 59 degrees at Mt. Wilson so dress accordingly (59 feels like 41 going down hill at 35 mph). Also I would try to bring at least 1600 calories of “food” (gel, sports drink, whatever).
