Hey yall the LACBC
bike slogan contest is ending tomorrow!
So if you are sitting on some dope slogans that need to be out there,
send em' in!
If you go to the
CONTEST PAGE you can read all the details.
But the short version is that we are gonna put up hundreds of posters all over the city. and this will be LA first official street level Bike Education Campaign.
We have a lot of great slogans so far, But for this project to be a success we need as much imput as possible from the RIdazz community.
So please join us!

Hey Marcus your slogans were good, but they were more "pro bike" rather than directing drivers to be safer and to co-exist/empathize with bike riders... these slogans should not be proseletizing bike riding but rather calling on drivers to drive safely and acknowledge that cyclists have a right to the road.
that being said, we just went through all 500ish slogans submitted.... whew....
We've whittled it down to about 30 highlights so far.... What we are going to do next, might backfire but I want to put the top ten on here so that you guys can have input, suggest tweaks comment etc.
If you submitted a slogan and feel that we unfairly did not choose one, then put it up here and we can discuss. There is no guarantee that any of these will be used since, the LAPD has to approve it too... but I would like to make this more public regardless and get a general buy in. I want as many people as possible to be happy with this campaign....
