The Church of F.U.N. is looking for house and/or studio mates!
$400 1/br
The Church of F.U.N. is a 9,000 sq ft work shop/home/playground located off of Melrose and Vermont. It is primarily an event and workspace of and for the bike community. There is a main venue space and bar, a main house with a kitchen and bathroom, an outdoor shop and living room/kitchen, plenty of bike parking, and a back house (this is where you'll live!) with a bathroom and ample room to build fun work spaces and rooms to live in.
We want dedicated, creative, hard-working individuals who want to be part of a radically fun living situation. The space you will be occupying will require some TLC, so if you can build, that is a bonus. If you don't have building skills but are still interested and would like to learn how to build, we have plenty of hands on deck to help you out! This space has the potential to be anything you want in a live/work space!
We are also looking for 24/7 studio mates. You can rent a small space (100-300 sq ft) to use for your projects for $100-250. You will have access to a wood shop, metal shop, bike shop, performance venue, and VIP status at the church of fun for all events and parties!

We are looking for people for the beginning of next month, however we need to give the deposit money to the landlord by the 15th, so if anyone is interested, it is somewhat of a time sensitive thing.

The back house is a 2000 sq ft space, which will be divided into 5 rooms, and art space, it's an L shaped building. There is a bathroom inside, but I don't think it (currently) has a shower. There is power and such back there though, and the 400/mo includes utilities.

My li'l pickled friend, Black Olive, wants to move in. I told her to respond to your Craigslist ad. Olive is a groovy, cycling, dancer chick - she'll fit right in. She's teaching @UCLA for a few months and needs a roof (and hopefully, eventually, a shower).
