Dude nobody is taking anything. The more choices in rides the better. Having too many rides is a good thing unless you are a megalomaniac that needs all the attention.

Arg! I may have to miss this. I am scouting for a 80-120 mile ride on Saturday afternoon. If I make it back in time and not fuck around toooo much I hope I can meet up with you. Sounds fun.

I have the route if you want me to post it, but for the most part it was a nice rolling hills ride from downtown to east los via Cesar Chavez. Then, since the ride was small enough and that much AWESOME, I took it to my house. The rest is history.

mechanical malfunctions, major failure on my part, and a less than good excuse. i apologize to everyone who showed and i was an hour late. i showed up just as everyone had left and ran into Tim, who was getting ready to leave. sorry superblueman (what's your real name?) i owe you an apology as well.
i think vacation needs to be refreshed and reinvented. less fail on my part, and more awesome on the ride's part.

sorry i forgot to follow up here... there is no apologies needed for a broken cog... that's not under your control. i was just frustrated because i really wanted to do misfixed but thought i'd support your ride instead. we ended up, the four of us left, at the top of mount hollywood, literally in the clouds, we couldn't even see the observatory or anything..... it was a pretty cool vacation :]

It will start Friday, sometime after 5 or 6, still not sure. It might very well start quite earlier than that but again I don't have all the deets ironed out yet. All I know is that it will start sometime Friday afternoon and carry over to Saturday.

Fun, chill ride just like in The Old Days (tm). I hope the pool party was fun. Kakihara and I broke off early in Burbank because we were close to a bar we like with vegan sausage and craft beer and the lure of it was just too great.
