so a while back this thread got bumped up: Saddle sores and pubes and while I found a lot of useful information, it was all primarily directed to guys.

so i'm gonna step up like digablesoul did and just be straight up about it...

Whenever I ride over 30 miles consecutively I seem to cramp up within the next 24 hours. And by cramping I mean uterine cramps like the kind you get when you start menstruating. Is it my saddle? Is it just me? The funny thing is that I dont feel any pain or discomfort while on my bike.

of course this comment isnt directed to ONLY women. maybe your mom, sister, girlfriend experience this too, but it is a pretty serious question and i just wanted to know if any other female ridazz experience this.

 I wish I had something for ya, but I don't. I've never had that experience. The only guess I have is that somehow your saddle is in the wrong position or your bike isn't fitting well...but I don't know why that would cause CRAMP cramps. Time to hit up the GYN, sista.

 angle/position can have just as much to do with it as the saddle itself.

is it angled up? down? level? far forward? far back?

it might be putting pressure in weird places. or maybe you just need one of those saddles with the vagina hole. i dunno.

 i agree with ms. stephanie go to the doctor but i guess it doesn't hurt to try a new position and the link below suggests supplementing with calcium.
