when my pedal came clear off at the Grateful Dead Ride, he picked me up in the follow car (or whatever they're called) and made sure i got back to the west side safely (thanks, Stevo4)!

i remember when my front wheel flew off of my bike in the midst of a ride...borfo threw his bicycle to the side of the road, grabbed the front of my bicycle and ran forward as if he were the horse to my bicycle coach....then he delivered my baby on that same night...thank you sir borfo..thank you

oh, I remember that night. It was when Cruz with Us had less than a dozen people. Borfo did some MacGuyver repair job with chewing gum and toothpicks and made a whole new wheel!

There is a reason why BORFO has been RIDA OF THE YEAR for three years in a ROW, and after B-Rad's stint (of a few years, and only because Borfo will be with child.) he will be RIDA OF THE YEAR for about 3 or 4 more again (until the next baby).

I don't consider him my hero, I'm my own hero. But I would definitely go on the record as a Borfo Advocate. In fact I'm president of the Borfront, the Official Borfo Advocacy and Fan Club. Our weekly zine, Borformation, is published bi-weekly. And we're publishing a coffee table book, Borfolio, in December.

I've seen Borfo squash a full on gang bang fight with guns and all downtown LA one night. IT was amazing. He had his hands spread out as if to welcome all the gang bangers that could see him. Even with bullets flying around, he never once flinched. The guy is incredible.
Even though he always hates on CMers, I still think he's OK in my book.
