First Friday is usually ride arc, but I havent heard a thing, and what about Saturday?

this Friday's Santa Monica Critical Mass is going to be huge..they are also having an after-party at the Epoxy Box..I usually do Ride-Arc but not this one...

RIDE-Arc doesn't usually announce their ride until just a few days before . . . I'm waiting. But if it doesn't happen, there's always The Dark Century.

normally I would drive down but I'm trying to get away from that. I get home from work around 5:30 and would be ready to leave then. i'm at Hollywood and Western. I hope that's enough time to get down there. If not, I guess I'll have to drive.

There are several bus lines that will get you there on time. The exact numbers/routes escape me.

of course, knowing the bus, you're better off riding. I'm probably going to ride from hollywood and highland or something, it saves a mile or two.

Being motivated by the Intolerable Beauty post, I'm going to sit on the couch, eat Cheetos, drink beer and watch sports on tv all weekend. Oh yeah, and wave a flag too.

SMCM leaves from the pier around 7:15pm, you'll have plenty of time. Plus, they usually do a 30min lap around the Promenade to start..No sweat.....

SMCM BABY!!!
Usually leave k-town at about 5:30, at that hour you can usually beat a car down to SM, so like 40min.
Anyone wanna join up, lemme know; we usually meet up at Wilshire & Western.

saturday is the culver city art walk...i was planning to bike to that from venice if i can avoid going homeless this weekend. (i am hoping to move.)

So, anyone heard from ride ARC yet? it's almost wednesday.
sounds like it's going to be smcm this month... (but that ride home sucks when you're inebriated).
Still, it seems weird not to have ANYTHING posted for Saturday (sorry, anything minus the SB ride, which there's no chance I could make it to).
Anyone think of anything? we've got 3 1/2 days, what up spur of the moment ridazz...!

so, let's see,
ride arc, in the valley, easy to get to, but it's where I spent all of last weekend riding around and i've been there a bunch, or sm cm, which I don't go to all that much, but involves a bit of work and or planning to get to and from...
decisions decisions... someone help me make up my mind...
but still, it looks like saturday night i'm going to be sitting home all bored and crap...

5:30 @ Wilshire & Western - leave shortly thereafter.
Anyone who wants to catch us...our route will be:
W on WIlshire
S on Crenshaw or any southbound street
W on Olympic (hell yeah we're takin that hill baby!!)
N on Bundy
W on Idaho
Idaho all the way to the pier!!

Oh shit. I misread the meeting location. I don't think I can make it to Wilshire and Western by 5:30. I normally get home from work around 5:30. I'm taking my motorcycle to work tomorrow in hopes to getting home faster.
Don't wait for me. I'll try to catch up. I'm going to be meeting another guy at Hollywood/Western at 5:30 and riding from there. If anyone else wants to meet us there - do it.

no it doesn't leave at 6:30. I think last month it left around 7:30. Then we rode around the promenade for about 30 minutes before we actually took off.
