APRIL 27th CASH RACE

In the light of the Friday the 13th Race (from hell), we had some judging issues and in the end we had to put our final decission under review. We've decided to award no true winner and will push the cash prize of $185 to the 27th of April where both the money from Friday the 13th and all the reigstration money from the 27th will be added together to create the ultimate prize for race 2 of 3. Just like the last race, if you have comments or questions, ask em here!

who wants to help with cameras?
I'm going to vidi this thing and need a bit of extra help, so if you have a vidi camera, especially helmet cam, lets hook it up.
I believe we have a least one or two strong riders who are going to wear some helmet cams. I'll probably edit together a close to real time piece in the end. depending on how long the race lasts.

I hope the route is a bit more mellow (yeah right!) I can't hang on the gnarly down hill turns with my shitty set up.
Any chance of a side pot for first fixie across the line?

We have taken under consideration the next course and we may in fact do a seperate track division only because we want more racers in total. Stay tuned and hopefully we will have a definate decision within days to come....

BTW, don't let all the whining that's going on bother you. Considering all the bad feelings that went down at the last one I think you handled this whole thing well and I for one am stoked you're putting on these events. That Dum Dum guy is just being a dildo, even if he's joking, what is the point of posting shit like that?

Rebeca was recently on a wolf pack ride and was injured (see wolfpack casualty). Since the $185 is disputed I think rather than putting that money into a bigger pool it would go to better use to help defer medical cost by donating it to her. Wolfpack is also hosting another drag race ride where there is a $5 entry fee and all the proceeds will be going to help with medical cost. Thanks for considering donating the money to a rider in need.

Nick you are a good sport. glad to meet you. Jack won it but the whole LA scene won with that race. congrats to the U-Lock Mob for putting on a great race. really great route too.

Wonderful RACE AngelCity!!!! MUch props to the effort and gusto it took to pull it off!!! Fack the monsters who triumphed, from the racers to the security guard spectators, to the casual riders, everyone who showed up won! A great race, GIVE US MORE>

Hey NY here, just wanting to thank everyone who came out last night, especially everyone who helped out. Boo Boo, Aaron, Mari, and anyone else i'm leavin out. I want to say congrats to Kyle, Orlando, Jack, & Nick. That was an awsome race, I'm glad we could decide a winner this time. Also a HUGE THANK YOU goes out to anyone and everyone who donated to help out our good friend Rebecca (Wolfpack Casualty thread). We got a bunch of well needed donations for her medical exspences. Also thank you to our racers who donated there winnings to her as well.
Now if anyone has video, photos, or even more donations for Rebecca, pleeze hit me up so that we can aquire that stuff. nycfixie@ca.rr.com!
Our future plans for race 3 of 3 will be a Relay Race. It is already posted for 3/11. We will release the flyer soon. Also it will be a (4) man team relay race, so start geting your teams together. If by chance you don't have a team, we will assign you to one so don't trip. Last it is gonna be $20 per team, that $5 per person so same as before. Last there will be a longer registration time. Race will be beginning @ 9pm sharp no bullshit. Registration is going to start @ 7:30pm. Start location will be released shortly.

with races like this.... LOS ANGELES is gonna be repping hard this summer! Angelcity you and your crew made this go off with class thanks for setting this up. Nick, you're a monster, glad to see the beef wasnt really beef after all. congrats to all the winners for being gracious to donate the winnings DOPE.
This relay shit is gonna be insane! Wolfpack will have a team repping fo sho.
PS. Hope to see all you guys at the Midnight Drag Race on the 5th. All proceeds go to Rebecca's med bills. So, even if you're a slower rider and dont think you can qualify, come out anyway just for the fuck of it, the more money we can raise the merrier. We'll post all entrants times and names on the wolfpack site as usual.
