ATTN: Commuters!

so i need all you commuters to help me on this one. i've been wanting to start a ride based on everyone's commuting route. the idea came from my own commute, where i was thinking how much funner it would be if i had some Ridazz with me. of course we will be doing the ride at night and not during the actual working hours, unless you work at night and you would like some company on your commute!
so my own commute is ~14 miles round trip, but the way back home is almost entirely a screaming uphill. i will reverse the route so that we can do uphill first then enjoy the downhill back to the meeting spot, but fitness will be essential.
the idea is to hopefully have fun and to remember all the ridazz that came with you on your daily route the night before. if your commute isn't very long, then plan some stops at a bar, liquor store, parks, or anything of interest along the route.
what to expect: good times and challenges. rides will vary in difficulty ***the route leader must use the bike that they commute with!***all bikes are welcome for everyone else.

I'm interested, but nobody has my commute. I head from Lincoln Park to Duarte. 24 miles rt.
Put me on the list for this. Maybe someone will eventually have a similar commute as me.
I've been looking for years though.

well the idea is to do other people's commuting route, so that means we will be starting and ending in different locations.
we can start at Lincoln Park for the Joe Borfo night, for example...

Holy shit I'm in! I commute from East Hollywood to Venice everyday to work and back. 25 miles.

hell yes! the commuter respective to his/her route WILL be the route leader! if it's your route, then you lead.

Awesome idea for a ride! It would be cool to see other people routes that they do. Might even help us with our commute! This is exciting. When and where? Count me in. I'll be there and help out.

Where and when will be decided as a group....i can do monday, tuesday, or thursday. meetup time should be around 8 so we can have enough time for people who need to catch the metro. i still don't know if i want to do this bi-monthly or every week. it all depends on how many people are in, and of course it could change later on down the line.

I just did Culver City to East Pasadena. Got lost along the way, 32 mi morning commute. Should've eaten breakfast.

I commute from Huntington Park to DTLA everyday usually different times of the day since my work hours vary but for the most part I'm always riding home alone from DTLA to Huntington Park sometimes after midnight since I work late nights usually.

Just post it as a ride; "E.Hollywood to Venice Commute" and put the meet up time and location. That is what Ayla does on Fridays, for her commute over the Sepulveda overpass.

it'll give me enough time for spoke cards and recruitment. i think i'll give Goose the inaugural ride.
