So about an hour or so ago I was driving (yes, driving) north on Wilton just south of Melrose. When I got to the light it was green, so of course I went. At that same instant some IDIOT kid with a bright orange frame turned from Santa Monica onto Wilton going north as well. Not only did he turn but he also took the turn wide going RIGHT in front of my car. Had I been going a lil faster I woulda had his brains all over my windsheild!!! No, it's not funny and its not cool and I dont condone running over idiot kids who ride unsafe. But if I HAD hit him and stopped to give him my info nothing woulda been done in his favor anyways cuz I was following the law and he wasn't.
All I'm saying is the way that you're riding is really unsafe. If you think that a car is gonna stop and let you go because you have a neon orange frame you are TOTALLY WRONG!

The kid must've thought he was a local hauler late to the next stop and had to swing that 53' wide enough to get it through the last milli-second of green-light.

OH! btw... HE had the stop... and you would think that at such a busy intersection the idiot would at least look both ways before turning. but no.... im always amazed at how STUPID people can be... meh

I naturally turn wide in every vehicle I drive.
Since I practically started driving at 20, then didn't get any freeway time until getting my commercial-Class-A a year later, rig-style of driving has become permanently ingrained into every aspect of wheeled transport.
Hell, I've even entered weigh stations in a regular car on a few occasions.

And I'm fine with those. Then I heard on Channel 4 that these things were going to remove an entire lane of automobiles, which last time I looked the roads were made for automobiles, and that they were going to somehow be in the middle and not on the sides and we were somehow going to be dominated, as if this was Beijing, by hundreds of thousands of bicyclists. And I don't really care what they do on Pennsylvania Avenue, if they can't ride a car on that anyway, but how are they going to get the bikes down there? They're going to have to go through other streets. I think this is a terrible, terrible idea. I don't mind those one lanes, but you get in Rock Creek Park and 3 or 4 of these people start riding abreast, and I swear to you it's all you can do to not RUN THEM DOWN, like Wile Coyote's, run them over. Just stay on the right. Stay on the right. I'm happy to share the road with you, but by share the road what I mean is you have room on the right and I have room on the road. Get the hell out of my way. Am I wrong on this?

Don't be a dumbass by hanging on to the back of my truck. That happened to me again yesterday. I look in my mirror and I see some asshead hanging on to my truck's tailgate. If I had to stop quickly or swerve, he would have been dead. This shit is not a video game.
