$800.00 Studio Apartment in a beautiful Building. (KoreaTown/Hollywood)
Located at
245 N. Kenmore Ave, Los Angeles - 4 Blocks West of Vermont at the corner of Kenmore and Beverly.
Beautiful 3 story building with 30 units. The apartment for rent is on the 2nd floor with large windows and views of the Hollywood Hills (Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory).
Most of the neighbors are in their 20s and 30s. There are 3 bbqs in the backyard for people to use, as well as some tables and chairs out there. The building has 2 washers and 2 driers in the basement. It costs $1 to wash and $1 to dry.
The apartment has two security doors to get inside, so it is extremely safe.
There is free wireless internet in the building courtesy of a tenant on the top floor (he knows everyone uses it and keeps it unsecured for that reason).
Electricity is approximately $25 every two months and the gas bill is approximately $10 every month.
Pets okay with $150 deposit. Available on August 1. Credit check and application are necessary to move in, and deposit is $800. Great landlords who are quick to fix things if there are any problems.
Transportation and Nearby Attractions:
The Beverly/Vermont Redline station is less than a 5 minute walk away
Ralphs, Vons, Johns and other grocery stores are all within walking distance
Lots of restaurants and bars in the area as well as numerous taco trucks for late night eats.

it's a really cool place. the only reason my girlfriend is moving out is that she is moving in with me. We will probably still be hanging out there as we have become friends with a large percentage of the people living in the building and go out with them on a regular basis.
It's a very drinking and smoking friendly building too.

maybe it's considered a single. In any case it is a large room, with two closets, a vanity area near the bathroom and a kitchen in a separate room from the other room.

This is actually a steal for being smack near the middle of the city.
We got places around that price up here, but if I had the funds and job saved/lined up right now, I would be all over that.

It really is a great studio... Fantastic views, central location, near the metro, amazing bakeries, taco trucks ect...
