Ridazz Tour 2009

Just spoke to Lance and Andy who have been riding for the past few months on their tour from Canada to Mexico.
They are fast approaching southern California and have said they would be excited to have some ridazz meet them along the way.
They should be in San Luis Obispo by next wednesday and then on to Goleta.
I am hoping to organize a group of people who want to take the train up and ride with them for one or two days back to Los Angeles.
People would need to bring a tent and sleeping bag and some cash to buy beer and firewood other than that its a pretty cheap trip.
Who's interested? and how long would you be willing to ride along with the group? I was thinking 2 maybe 3 days at the most.
Goleta is a nice place to camp and a relatively short ride back to LA with train stops along the way for those who don't want to ride the whole way.

Stillline,     Is the plan to meet up with Ridazz on Wednesday afternoon and take a train up to SLO town where we will camp out at our reserved campsite with Lance and Andy? Then Thursday we all ride to LA? What about our gear?

If we want to ride for 2 or 3 days we could meet them in Goleta.
If people only want to ride for one day and camp one night then we could do something closer like somewhere in Ventura County.
As far as gear goes you would need to bring a tent, sleeping bag, some clothes and some cash.

That changes everything. we need some one to meet us up there with the camping suppplies. itll be to heavy to haul it up there.

use a pannier and buy supplies up there, they've been carrying all their shit around unsupported.

Not sure what days just yet but we are planning to take the train up to Goleta and ride a few days back ith lance.
We'll bring our own camping suplies, all of which can easily fit on a bike rack.

Hopefully we can find a place to meet Lance and Andy on Friday and make it back to L.A. on Sunday.
For those who cant make it Friday we will make a second camp on Saturday night south of Goleta.
Come meet us either day and we will make sure we have enough firewood and beer to keep you comfortable.
A tent and a sleeping bag weighs very little and you should be able to carry both on a rack or a basket.....even in a backpack... so stop tripping and get on the train.
