There are maybe 10-20 bike messengers in this town, and that number's shrinking.
If you want to make deliveries by bike, call one of your local Chinese restaurants.
If you want to "stack that skrilla", you might want to look for another field that's not filled with people who are willing to work cheap just to be able to say they're bike messengers. Check out indeed.com

Well I'm wouldnt be doing it just to say I'm a bike messenger, and I also know the pay is cheap, I just dont wanna find another job i hate doing, I love riding bikes, so I thought Id have a nitch for it :)

Try some of the collectives / dispensaries
I've seen some of them advertising delivery by motorcycle.
Maybe someone would be up for a bicycle delivery ?

and just bc you love riding bikes doesnt mean you'll love being a messenger.

No. There's no part time work for messengers.
Unfortunately, the pool is shrinking, and companies are itching to hire kids' who will work for cheap. Expect minimum wage with no benefits. There are companies out there who can give a decent wage, but you would need some experience, and some knowledge in the legal field. Expect to start small, and get experience from there.
Look for Attorney services in yellow pages/online, if you still wanna go that route.

if you want to see your kid graduate middle school, bike messengering might not be the best job for you. try applying for the crack of dawn shift at UPS around thanksgiving. after three months, you'll be a teamster with benefits and a lifetime shitty job. at least you'll have insurance.
