I think I can speak for team "COKED UP" in saying Thanks! for putting on a really great polo tournament this weekend. Xray, Alfredo, and I had a good time. We went 1 and 3 but had a killer time in all 4 games.
I wasn't gonna play cuz of lack of confidence in my playing but Joker wouldn't take no for an answer. We held our own considering we played some of the best teams around and saw some insane polo games both days.
There are games every week all over l.a. county. Come out and play.

OMG THAT WAS SUCH A GOOD GAME!!!!!!
oh my gosh the underdogs facing champions, the entire crowd on its feet screaming for Arizona, crushing blows, exhilarating triumphs, all down to a last second shot to win the game!! and the crowd went wild spilling onto the court lifting those kids in the air!! only to go and get handled by the 818!!! aaaaaaaahhh fuck I loved that shit!
definitely worth the price of admission.

It was like that and more.....the tournament ended with about 7 or 8 minutes until the lights went out. Perfect timing.

Yeah, really. Mad props! This tourney only inspires me to play even better.
It's also another reason why I'm gonna stop riding too. I'm gonna focus on polo and other subjects.

Mad, mad fun all weekend. Four court pickup up was so epic and intense. And thanks to everyone who came out to support- July, Lindsay, Ariel, Kat, and so many others.
I can't even begin to describe how awesome this all was, my thoughts are all scattered, so I'll just say THANK YOU. SO. SO. SO. SO. MUCH.

Well hang on everybody... First of all I can't take all the credit for this one. Well even though it was my money and reputation on the line, the real heroes of this mission are LA BIKE POLO. Definitely lil Sarah and Krista got to go up front and take a bow. They both are champions of organizing, baking, plotting, planning, carpooling, spreadsheet authoring, man, all that shit I don't really know how to do by myself. Also got to give it up for ALL the regulars who helped run the pickup games and set up the sound system, They were the grease on the gears of this thing. NELA made one of the biggest plays of the tourney, bringing the BBQ and a big ass table. And Brad I saw u puttin in work, flippin burgers. To my teammates, Pistolero and Tyrone, what else can I say, we made it to the finals. We had to beat some real badass teams to get there, and we even beat the winners in the first game of the finals. Next time...
One last thing, I want to thank everyone that comes out to Polo every week, makin' sure there's at least 6 of us there for a game.
