Meanwhile, Victorville has bankrupted itself into the ground on its pork-barrel of an NG-fired power-plant for which there is no business to support.

 I made that statement in the hopes that it would gradually spurn even more out-spread support of the bike-park.
I get alot of flack for it on here, but you have noticed the majority of persons riding the main drags are Lance-wannabes.
Just like in the LA Basin, cycling and all aspects of it would be more widely accepted and appreciated in the desert if more people doing it were of the "Average Joe" persuasion.

That in turn would get more "Average Joes" out on bikes and since two-wheels are now somewhat ingrained into their head, "bike-park" will almost immediately draw their attention and interest.

Psychological warfare in the summer heat of the desert.
