this is in hopes to find some people who need to take, preferably, an international flight last minute.
i have some buddy passes that need to be used before i quit (i work for delta), and don't want to waste them.
if you don't need to travel far, last minute, maybe someone you know does.
these buddy passes could easily save you a few hundred on international flying (plus you, most likely, sit in businesselite, which is at it's cheapest, a two thousand + dollar ticket).
anywhere delta flys is the only limit...and you can have two stops.
check out delta.com to see if delta flys where you need to go.

Buddy passes are great. Used them for several European trips in the past.
Advantages are flexibility ex. fly into Barcelona and return from Moscow or Amsterdam. Use to be able to string cities like fly to Paris then return out Munich via Rio De Janiero ( need visa for Brazil). Fly First Class or Business Class most of the time. Cheap.
Disadvantages: might get bumped off a flight (got bump once in 20 years). You must have a flexible schedule. You must wear business attire to get into Business/Elite Class.

My wife wants to go to somewhere in Europe with me. We messed up our chances twice of going to Barcelona this year. Maybe now is our 3rd chance?

sc.nomad --with delta you don't have to wear business attire anymore!!
now the only thing they ask is, the typical, no tears/holes in attire, preferably no flip-flops, but that's up to the gate agent (i've done flip-flops a couple times and it's been cool), and no profanity/anything vulgar on clothing. cake!

Musta had a really strict gate agent flying out of Munich 2 years ago. She wouldn't let me in business/elite class because I was wearing chinos. It was an early flight and the only airport store open was Boss store, cost me 100 euros for a pair of slacks. But it was well worth it, especially when your greeted by "Champagne, orange juice or mimosa?"
BTW, it was Delta. I have no complaints whatsoever.

two years ago the dress code was still in effect. this change happened barely a year ago.
