The mosey was my first solo ride I remember the date 4-09-08:D
It was only 10 people strong.. I met the beautiful Steph, Louise, Sean, Maribel, Ed, Lance, and some old time friends...I will miss the mosey so much but never forget the friendships I have encountered over the years! The mosey was and has been a big part of my riding experience, it has shaped me into who I am now.
Steph we will all miss you so much but We are all proud of you and the choices you have made for your life ahead:) Keep it up! you're a very strong girl:D please keep in touch as well.
I saw you riding down 7th the other day. possilby heading to echo park polo.. i dont know. but you can COUNT ME IN. i can handle 12 mph. i hope -bites nails-
Steph, I am so happy for you! It is going to be a huge adventure! The Mosey was one of my first rides, I am so grateful to have made the friends I have at MR and it all started with the Mosey. Your kindness and friendship is the reason the Mosey lives....Viva the Mosey!
This was my first ride I ever did on m.r .. I even earned over 100 stitches on my face one night on a mosey ride! I will forever remember the mosey and the awesomeness that it has brought into my life!! Its sad to see another great era die... let's party down and send this ride into death with style.....
thanx steph for ur commitment to bringing us some good moseying around town, Week after week...
THANK YOU MOSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I have said before this goes down as one of the best rides in the history of MR.
Glad I was a part of this.
Pugzy its LOUIS not louise HA HA
Damn Debut those pics still haunt me, I left home before your crash. Danm that was major.
long live the mosey. i blame this ride the the dark rings under my eyes on thursday mornings at work.
thanks steph for all your hard work in this weekly ride.
good times. good times. good times.
You definitely brought something special to a formerly, empty night in the week.
When all of us were feeling down, you rounded us up like troops and we trotted into the night on our mixed-bag of steeds.
Yeah, I haven't gone on it as often as I liked, but when I did I felt as though I came home to a long, lost family I never had.
Wow Adam. You hit it right on the head, and without military jargon too. That's exactly how I felt the first time I went on it. It quickly became my second most favorite ride (barchopz is my fav and in big part because it's in my back yard) The group of riders that come to the Mosey are all genuine good spirited, cheese loving, wine tasting decent people and better friends.

Wow, I can't believe I won't be there for the last Mosey. What a ride to remember. It's so sad to think of it ending.
I've never been on a ride which, so consistently, brought together such great people. And although the Mosey didn't always mosey and it rarely departed on time, no one ever knocked it; probably because most of us didn't care. For me the Mosey always performed as advertised; a ride to get you through the week, a ride that was more about the riders than the ride.
So sad that I can't make the last Mosey... I'm working the night shift in Norwalk if you guys want to stop by. No? Didn't think so.
Steph, thanks for so many good memories, good times, good friends. It's been a pleasure following you around on my bicycle in the middle of the night on so many nights. Wednesdays will never be the same without you.
Ohhh nooo....... This ride will be severely missed. Thanks so much for all the fond memories, Steph. It's like another ride has hit the casket. S&S is another. May they rest in peace.
hey i hate to be annoying, but where is the mosey going to this wednesday? i got plans to do in the evening and i just wanna know if the route is on the way. :)
Today my 6th iPod died and so will the Mosey! What's going on with all the old cool rides. I know S&S had to end, just like Cruise With us and now this. I hardly ever got a chance to go but every one that I made it out to was truly magic! Thanks Guys!!
I remember doing the 1st Mosey and unfortunately I didn't ever ride after that. My work schedule just didn't let it happen. Steph and others... sucks to hear that it's gotta stop but from the pics... Good times!
Just FYI... Drooby thought the last mosey ever was so great he dicded to get arrested tonight for outstanding warrants. We took his bag and his bike home to nicoles house. Lets have a ride tomorrow to bail him out.
A note to anyone that decides to start up a new Wednesday ride in DTLA....take your time in planning it...The Mosey was a great ride and kept up a good reputation...don't fuck it up is all i'm trying to say.
Too bad Lance couldn't be here for THE END.. He's on a bike safari at the moment. Definitely one of coolest cyclists I've met.
Steph, you will be greatly missed! It was great riding with ya on so many rides, and thanks for your support with my ride. You know what this means - we must all visit you for a ride in france!
When ya get back, will it be "THE RETURN OF THE MOSEY"??
What a Triple Epic final route! Even though I missed Angels Point, it was Double Epic for me.
Equal thanks go out to Steph and Lance for bringing the Chill Chinatown Mosey to Los Angeles. I may not have been able to make every single ride, but every time I have it has been a blast.
I think Midnight Ridazz needs to take notes about the concept of keeping a chill Mosey pace for most of it's large scale rides.
My favorite Mosey was the one where we had to look for treasure.
Yeah, these go-fast rookies need to take the chill-pill and slow the fuck down.
Their shit demeanor is what leads to the horror stories I've been hearing alot about lately.
Hell, even on that annual awareness ride we got up here, there were some roadies that wanted throw their hustle into it.
But, that's for a whole, 'nother thread.
Anywho, since I missed this, I'll only be able to relive it by implanting false memories from the insane amount of pictures that just got uploaded.
