DOSE ANYONE AGREE THAT THE FIRST STOP FOR LACM SHOULD BE THE ECLECTIC DAISY CARNIVAL?

But getting some possible destinations thrown out couldn't hurt.
I've heard:
1. A donut shop in honor of our men and women in blue tonight.
2. Randy's Donut Shop is one, for example.
3. LAPD HQ in DTLA (could present problems)

I called the place and spoke with the manager. He is supportive of Critical Mass but he said he has only one employee staffed for tonight and he doesn't want to overwhelm her. So maybe not such a good idea after all. Sorry.
Might I suggest new downtown LAPD building or the front of City Hall? Just an idea. Any others?
Whatever it may be, Big Bike Dan is taking us somewhere awesome.

Wow, you'd think if we said we are coming, here's your chance to make some money, he'd call in another employee...but I also understand it's short notice. Too bad. I was hoping for something with pink sprinkles.

Rolling by as many Police Stations as you can and applaud LAPD at each stop would be a good way of thanking the boyz in blue.

Downtown, city hall, union station, pershing square, 6th street bridge?
Maybe we can give them a break and avoid Hollywood, leading LAPD instead through the relatively more sparse streets of downtown where we can practice playing nicely.

Downtown is good. I think east over west is preferable (speaking only of geographical directions here--not preferences in men/women, food choices, medical philosophies, etc.)
Another person suggested Tang's Donuts in Hollywood. (Decent sized parking lot--but it's usually pretty full with cars.)

If you know what destination you want to suggest, know the intersecting street names so we can announce where it is in case people get lost.
Its not like we are ALL going to buy donuts. We just need an agreed destination to meet at.
I have faith in the people of critical mass to come to a consensus at the start. Let's have Big Bike Dan announce it on the Mic and roll out in solidarity with the LAPD.
Remember to stay on the right lane and to stop at all reds unless the cops block the intersections.

Rose Garden at Expo Park/USC area? It's such a beautiful night--and I'd love to smell some roses.
(also by where the the crazy Electric Daisy Carnival is happening--should be lotsa crazy stuff happening down there.)

We should go back to Hollywood and Vine!
It will be good for LACM and LAPD specially after what happened at the last LACM. We want more people to see us with LAPD. It will be very good PR for the bicyclists and LAPD. People of LA will cheer for us and it is good for EVERYONE!
