I already posted my beg for sympathy in another thread. but hear it goes again. got doored riding to work. surgery, pins, cadaver bone, county USC ( modern day equivalent of torture), Norco ( similar to vicodin ) and whiskey. you really should be studying.

i woke up, tried to go to ikea in burbank, met the awful traffic caused by the dah yers game, went to play call of duty, drank, took a long walk, missed the rwnn, and a ride aborter is coming to my apartment to start another party.

I got drunk two nights ago and crashed my bike with one of my friends. I broke my toe (OMG) and did some cosmetic damage along with slight actual damage to my front aerospoke. I'd be riding tonight but my bike is busted for the next day and a half. The much needed sleep will be good, though.

Waiting for guests to arrive from Arizona... and also "on call" for my job... which isn't important enough to ever justify having to be "on call"... but that's what I am.

Awaygoingsparty for a friend this evening. I did get there and back on a bicycle, so I guess I did ride, was riding, have ridden... whatever. In any case, I am not "riding" in the present progressive tense, and that is my excuse. It's been months and months since I've made it out to a RWNN. For shame.

Working, trying to get my old workout routine rekindled, too far away.
I did have a short chat with a fine woman on a beater this morning, but she was headed to work and I was off to the firehouse to replace my busted shift-lever.

No good reason. Did watch bike polo, though. Nothing like vicarious living. Also, Lankershim In-N-Out after lights-out. But every high school in the valley must have had games last night. And they were apparently all hungry afterwards, because the wait was like a bad twilight zone episode. Nice ride home, though. And sleep. Haven't had much of that lately.
