FREE Heirloom tomato plants

Hi everyone, I am giving away heirloom tomato plants. The story behind
the plants are that i bought a tomato from the culver city farmer's
market saved the seeds, then a year later they were planted. Over 40+ of
the seeds sprouted around 35 survived. As it stands i have too many
plants and not enough space. None of the plants have begun to flower and this is the first time planting them, so have no expectations. You have to bring your own containers for transport. They are over a month old. i have about 25 to give away. Please come and get them.

you should know that some of the plants have early blight. i have treated them with with a fungicide today. the fungicide i used is okay to use on organic gardens. i grew the plants organically. You should put that into consideration considering if you have other plants. if you do decide to get the plants you will need to quarantine the plants till the blight is gone.

"have no expecatations"...does it usually take more than one season/cycle for them to fruit? i don't know much about that sort of thing.

i grew tomatoes last year. put a seed in the ground and they take off like weeds.
give them LOTS of water them and use a trellis, and before long you'll have more tomatoes than you know what to do with.
if you want to do it on the cheap, im sure you could figure out how to make a trellis with some old bike rims and string. don't forget the trellis though. i did and it was a disaster.

this is my first time growing heirlooms . they would fruit this season like any other tomato but i depends on how late they would fruit. i did plant them late in the game.
unfortunately since it's been a year i don't know exactly what variety they are they could be brown derby, black krim, or some other variety that has green on top and red on the bottom.
You would have to nurse them back to health.
Septoria Leaf Spot (Septoria Blight). there are new leaves sprouting so they should survive to fruit.

the reason they became diseased if from getting water on the leaves. do not get water the leaves.
