They filmed the "way-back" high school scenes at Whittier High, across the street from where I lived at the time.
They were having trouble with shooting scenes due to the onlooking girls screaming every time Michael Fox came into view.

every episode of BTTF the year ends in 5....1955, 1985, 2015 (and in part 3; 1885).
