has anyone ever gotten a helmet ticket in glendale or anywhere else for that matter fornot wearing a helmet?
i was wondering what its going to cost me..
Yeah i know helmets are important. Trust me i was planning on getting one but its harding finding one for a person with a head full of locks.

Pretty unusual to get a no-helmet ticket, but it's legit if you're under 18.
Must have been a slow night in Glendale.

if you are under 18, it should only be a few bucks. if you are over 18, it's a bogus ticket. contest it and pay nothing. cops rarely know anything about bike law.

exactly...under 18 and a helmet is a must, over 18 and it's up to the rider's discretion

Everything these guys say above makes perfect sense.
However, everyone should still wear one to give themselves that extra chance at surviving an impact.
Especially the fixed-rookies jetting around downtown trying to look all bad-ass without brakes.
