help me get to portland

im moving to portland but im moving out of my apartment june 1st and dont pan on leaving for a month i need to save money like crazy so if anyone has a couch i can sleep on and some extra chores that need to be done i can help with that so im basically going to be homeless for a month. im staying at my friend laurens for the first week of june and i will need random couches and shit to sleep on for the rest of the month. i am also selling some things to get some extra money.
1. my univega road bike i never ride it so i want to sell it to someone who will it is in amazing condition and has really nice parts i want to sell it for 150 so if anyone wants it let me know its a 49'
2. i have a five disk cd player that i have hardly ever used its really nice and practically brand new i would like to get like 30 dollars for it.
3. my car not that any of you want it it needs a little work like an oil change and a tune up and maybe something else i will sell it for 800
4. my t.v i will sell it for twenty bucks its a good size not fancy flat screen or anything but it works well
so anything to help please i want to move and go to ubi to learn how to build bike frames

Aww, hopefully you come back! Portland is nice and all, but ...

i'm sure you need the money from the car but having lived in portland for almost 3 years, i'd like to recommend that you keep it (that is if's working AND especially if it can move you and your stuff up there).
i know it sounds ludicrous to some but when living there you seemed to get sucked into a 3 mile radius and places that are only 50 blocks away suddenly seem so far.
you really don't need it but i am recommending keeping it more for your state of mind when you want to get out and explore more of oregon, like going to the coast, the river, the falls or just getting the fuck out of town for a while. it's a really nice option to have during the rainy season (which is most of the time).
plus it's a back up place to crash in if you need it.
either way, good luck. of course you'll love it and i would say get up there before the end of june if you can because there is a 2 week bike "festival" called "pedalpalloza" that you would really enjoy... and portland summers are the best.
(i think i'm going to go up there for a month this summer myself. sigh, ahh portland)

oh yeah im also selling my rear mount bike rack i just got it in december so its still pretty new so if anyone wants it i will be selling it for 20 bucks

seriously, I thought it was going to say Seseme Street. Can you tell me how to get how to get to Seseme Street? I wish I could help you get to Portland though.
