ARLINGTON — Police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed the Compass Bank at 921 W. Lamar Blvd. about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. The robber grabbed a bank employee as he opened the back door and forced the employee inside, according to a statement from police. The man held two employees at gunpoint while going through the safe, pictures provided by police show. At one point, the robber held a woman by the throat while pointing a gun at an employee. No one was injured. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before leaving on a bicycle with wheels whose spoke patterns differ from each other. He is described as 6 feet and 180 pounds and wearing blue jeans, a green hoodie and a white hat. Anyone with information is asked to call Arlington police Detective Caleb Blank at 817-459-5307 or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477. All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,250. — Mitch Mitchell

You can easily ride your bmx full of cash through the Dallas greenish suburbs of Las Colinas and buy yourself some southern comfort smoothies by their suburban golf courses and not get noticed if you just wait for a bus and park the bmx at Los Colinas. Just saying.

i've gotttttttt to get one of these again. i haven't touched one sinche high school. when all my friends got skateboards i did too... but when i soon learned that four lil wheels on a board wasnt for me i got my BMX and invaded their skateboard ramps w it. wish i had kept the bmxing after highschool. that and stingrays are my cycling joy and past growing up. until i got a damn car and into cars. I used to own a customized (hot rod rear wheels too) chevy malibu (81) 2 door coupe. then a 65 pistachio ice cream green w/ white accents n crhome vw beatle. i was into cars... in high school and post high school then i went to economy point a to point b simple cars but dreamed of the custom japanese import racer pocket racer shit... until one day i got into a car depriving situation...........
then i got into bikes again and realized i could do this by pedal power most if not all the time. I got a mtn bike... i converted the wheels from knobbies to slicks for city commuting... i would bus and bike to work.... then i learned about cvc21202 and felt more empowered... then i progressed to a road bike after a huge learning curve of wrecks and run-ins w/ 4, wheeled vehicles... i learned more in this curve with my road bike... learning to adjust to this new speed and power was a challenge for my adrenaline junkie like speed freek demon side... a really dangerous side one could have n diffucult to snap out of. one thing is when you're a kid this is no real threat, you hurt yourself, you heal up quick and you barely injure yourself, your indestructuble and flexible like rubber... in your 30's that's different. I really should dig back into that instinct and old talent and skill set. i need me a bmx dammnit. i use to do dirt/motocross bmx and do almost the same shit my friends did on their skateboards on 1/4 and 1/2 pipes.... i miss those bikes and those skills and reflexes...
