Thank You Midnight Ridazz

This is not a goodbye. It's just a thank you letter to all you Ridazz for just being you and making my last 10 years more meaningful and enjoyable. I'm not sure what I'd have been like if it wasn't for the community of ridazz and the spirit of fun and adventure that you let me share. I'm just reflecting on where I am now and who I was before. I have so many friends when before I had very few. I developed a sense of confidence in trying to inspire and lead large groups of like-minded folks to put on certain events, trips, and rides.
I'm grateful for Don and the mommas and poppas that started it all and who kept it alive for so long. It's been a pleasure seeing the changes and improvements in our city in regards to bicycles no matter how slowly or few they have been. I'll always be a rida. I've been busy and less active, but my heart still belongs on the streets at night with a thousand screaming maniacs.
I'm not sure where the future will take Midnight Ridazz, group rides, and the cycling communities we have. I will always stay loyal as a friend and help participate with events whenever I can. I was kind of hoping to see a new wind of interest pick up and new ridazz come out of the woodwork to make new groups, rides, and events in the years to come. There always seems to be a cycle or re-learning about the nature of large group rides, how to handle the cops, how to treat each other, etc. I think we've established here a lot of ground for new ridazz to reflect upon and be reminded on how to keep the spirit of Midnight Ridazz alive.
Thank you all for being here for me when I needed you and giving me a way to play and love. Keep the forum alive and work together to make things happen. We are the sum of all ridazz, not the work of a few. A lot of dumb things have been said on this forum. Yeah. I know mostly from me. There's been also a lot of wisdom posted here. Let's try to remind each other of what this is all about.
ALL CITY!
RIDE ON!!!
XOXO.

I'm going to go ahead and take credit for most of the wisdom.

It's been a wild ride with its hills and straight roads but one things for sure, so long as my two-wheels keep on turning i will always be a rida. I too found my voice and family, though all I had initially for was to ride my bike. Thanks to Ridazz like yourself, always keeping it fun... Eddieboy, always helping the n00bs, and a plethora of others, I couldn't stop coming back, it's like I had a disease, one ride then another...
Thanks for always being there for us as well!

What's wrong Joe, the wifey not talking to you? That post reminds me of a Styx's song "Too Much Time On My Hands"
All those Thank you where a big turkey. If you missed it thanksgiving was last month.
Sure glad you are not my Daddy.
Borfo's Kids: Daddy Daddy where is Daddy?
Borfo's Babies Moma: Sorry kids your Daddy is gushing all over his computer keyboard. You kids would be best to leave him alone right now. Remember what happen to Mommy last time she tried to get that overgrown bunny to come bed while he was interneting. The swelling has finally came down, don't want to bring it back up. How many times will my co-workers keep believe that I fell and hit my eye on the sink. Just go play in the street.

I just want to say thanks for so much for the Gloaming rides.
That trip through the sewers was so one to remember.
I keep checking for other Gloaming rides that are intriguing.
I want so much to do a mountain bike ride.

I hope as your kids get older and make more and more demands on your life you can get a chance to ride. I really miss you but in my case, I really didn't start riding until after my kids were grown. I hope we don't have to wait that long for you.

Instead of waxing nostalgic, we can strive for a more RAD future. Please help.
