It's a beauty of a bus too... Something about that old school manufacturing and the fact that it was a govt vehicle... Monster suspension, simple design. HANNELEN ET.

the long ride home from slab city eclipses almost all of my Vandrew memories. O, JB, Sheena and myself laying down on the mattress in back, the sun setting over the salton sea, bottles of wine being passed around, not being harassed at the homeland security checkpoint and a bus full of friends.

oh yeah and he helped me build my first tallbike at the rabbit hole.

Thank you for this most recent happening with the fire bus. She's a real beaut, and with quite the impressive gear box. A truly solid piece of machinery. My limbs have never tamed such a beast and I will be happy to drive her anytime.

Even in the crazy wind gusts on the way home, I don't think anyone noticed because that bus is BEASTLY, bitch!
