Let's obey all the California Vehicle Codes and SHARE the road.
Please use the BIKE LANES and stay in ONE lane if we need to take the lane,

Bring your lights, reflectors, tubes, patch kits and any tools you may need.
No RIDA left behind. Chill/CRUISER pace. Helmets are encouraged and SEXY too.
We will be stopping for ALL stop signs, stop lights, and HOTT lingerie models.

It's getting hot out there and we Los Angelinos are already used to basically being naked anyway! Why not do it on a bike in West Hollywood? Better yet, do it in your favorite lingerie! Pajamas! Shorts! Or nothing at all!

NOTE: This is not an advanced ride. This is a beginnier to intermediate ride. We will not be going a million miles an hour. We will be on the road for this. No one is allowed to go on the sidewalk. You're allowed to bring people as long as they have a bike, they're riding, and they have at least something themed for the ride.

its unfortunate that the west hollywood and bike situation is how it is considering the overwhelmingly liberal community and governement it has. we were there when some riders from the LACM were ticketed in weho. if we all chill out and follow the law we should have a decent chance of avoiding any conflicts... but as i said it is how it is...

i think citywide (esp. downtown LA) we're seeing an increase of police harassment. maybe a couple times a week i'm tailed for a mile or two by a squad car looking to cash in on me... waiting for me to run a red.... or looking for silly crap like the new law that requires pedal reflectors...or asking to see a bike license.....or riding too far from the curb...

just ride within the limits of the law... this is not a hostile takeover of weho

So yeah, ride was short and kind of not organized. Plus someone lost their pants, sorry dude. But I think this was the ride organizers' first ride organized? Let's give them a break. Remember the important thing - we stopped at enough 7-11s and liquor stores along the way to keep everyone energized and safely hydrated.

And despite all the erotic potential and romantic undercurrents of the ride, there was not a whole lot of hooking up going on. Which is why I'm at home right now watching porn. :) Any ladies want to come over and watch porn together? 310 nine84-143four

Also, despite not drinking all that much and the ride ending right near my house, I had the worst time coming back home from a ride I've ever had. I had to take like four naps on the sidewalk. After my last nap I was walking my bike up a hill (the one on 23rd near the SM airport, I would have ridden that shit but climbing in my slippers hurts like a bitch) and a cop car pulls up and is like "are you ok did you take a spill did you see anyone take a spill" and I say yes no no I didn't see anybody. It was only a few minutes ago that I realized that someone must have seen me napping on the sidewalk and called the cops thinking I was hurt. People in Santa Monica are so nice, if it was me I would have pulled over and stolen my sleeping self's wallet, but since it was myself I would not have actually stolen anything. PARADOX!

Also, that shit with a pack of us in front of the ride passing the cop on Hollywood Blvd and then him getting out and getting angry and then a whole ton of riders pulling up from behind and him getting quiet all of a sudden and leaving us alone was fucking hilarious.
