The Video Mouse is gearing up to shoot a short film for a friends bicycle company to use for marketing and have started hunting down potential riders who may have the want to be our lead in the piece.
The Fixie bike company is down to give a bike to whoever wants to be our "actor" as there isnt a budget for the project. Shoot date Jan 11th. Please send a picture of yourself on your bike or face shot to maritza@thevideomouse.com
looking for peeps with a similar description
- male over 18 yrs old
- lighter skinned as we will be shooting with natural lighting, sunset +
- urban + hip attire
- unsponsored (bicycle specific only)
- good with tricks and riding aggressively
- somewhat attractive + generally charismatic
- able to deliver a few lines of dialogue with ease
It is commonly known among filmmakers that you can't photograph dark skin with natural light and sunsets. Your camera will blow up if you try. That's just a fact. And by fact, I mean total bullshit.
See, they know that you darkies have no money, they're looking for those rich west hills kids with their parents credit cards. They're saying if you're brown then you're not our bike buying demographic. Dingo and Mark, that makes you out for sure, borfo....you could pass in the right lighting. If longhairs was making this vid, you'd get some bikes for sure. Are we having fun yet or what?
You can buy a complete POS fixied for under 200 bucks now, do we really need another fixie company?
I can't believe this guy would actually think he's going to get a positive result on here. wow.

I heard Jared Leto rides a fixie, he's a fantastic actor (he did this show called My So-Called Life), I'm pretty sure he can do some wicked awesome tricks.
