If I run a wheel with a coaster brake hub as my front wheel can I still run a fixed gear hub in the back ?
Dedicated81806.7.12 - 7:54 pm
reply
The time change is because it's hard for me to get out of the shop at 5pm and get to where the course is on time every time. I have more control over my mornings, they will be cooler and I'm not all greasy and tired like I am at the end of the day. Soapbox is normally in the morning but that group has gotten smaller than the coaster brake crowd so we go with the majority.

First course will be a great kick off with a 3+ mile climb! But wait there's more! The course will have a low technical aspect except for descents which you'll have to watch out. Avoid Meat Pylons, be nice. The course will be detailed at the meet point but the total mileage is about 15 miles with some climbing.

It's close but it's up hill to the start of the course so you may want to drive, I may have room for a rider, and room for bikes for sure so you can hitch a ride if you need one.

8 laps each lap is around 1.5 miles. Some climbing, some tricky descending, some fire road, mostly single track, all fun. Watch for snakes, peds, crashed riders etc. Loop style.

Long but easy loop, lots of sandy portions, a few stream crossings, a bridge crossing, a mess of exposed single track. This is just the beginning, the riders will break off into teams for a game of foot down capture the flag on your bikes, the winning side will get double points for the heat, could be a game changer, but will be fun for sure. There may be some foot and horse traffic, best to say hi to the horses it makes them less likely to be spooked. Each lap is around 3.5 miles long, we're doing double duty so it will only be a 3 lap race then capture the flag.
Be sure to stick around for the raffle! I have goodies!!!
