I really wanna go on SMCM tonight, but somebody stole my brook's a couple days ago. the one that's been on Vancouver-->TJ, Amsterdam-->Paris, and god knows how many epic LA rides. All my spare part shit is down in San Diego, so I'm seatpostless and saddless.

Just needed to vent.

 I hear you, brother. I didn't want to put this on blast, but last summer my baby Brooks and seat post were lifted from my U-locked bike on 9th street downtown.
Had to cycle 13 miles home standing up!
Everybody, be on alert. If you have good bike stuff, take it with you or lock it up. I suspect there are roving bike thieves looking for easy targets.

 Christ man, that sounds 'orrible! Fortunately(?), this theft occurred very close to my domicile, so seat-less riding was not required.
