This is basically fiberglass coated cardboard, correct?
I'm not sure I see this taking off, as you can build a cheap and basic bike frame with a jig, a welder and a few bucks worth of pipe, while this is basically a full composite frame lay-up, and if you've got the time and skills for that, you might as well use carbon fiber and epoxy instead of cardboard and whatever natural fiberglass analog they're using.
Somehow I have a feeling this will go the way of the bamboo bicycle, as an overpriced niche market for Westerners with money, but not such a great idea for developing nations.
I hope I'm wrong though, as it'd be awesome to see a $20 / <25lb bike out on the road.
