i think tonight's probably the most important Cub Scout ride to be on, since it will set the tone for what "CUBCAMP: THE MOVIE" really is going to be! Its so awesome that so many creative minds roll two wheels!

Ok now that i'm awake and joose-erized, i've realized a few key wonders.
1) THIS WAS THE BIGGEST CUBCAMP EVARRRR - 28 people!!!!
2) Cubcampers are the BEST actors!....not
3) Cubcampers are the BEST campers!!!
4) Joose means dance party within the hour of consumption.
5) Joose also means ignoring the fact that sleep is a necessary ingredient to live.
6) Something has started, can you feel it?

Oh yes your leg, somehow was thinking ouch was reference to something entirely. Don't mind me, I'm confused this morning, drugged up on popy seed bagels.
Let's get a medic down here at once, this is the scouts, someone should know some first aid. Unfortunately didn't learn much when I was in the Cubscouts as a kid. We mostly spent troop meetings playing dodgeball and occasioanlly working on pinewood derby racers.

Don't know mileage for this evening, but we will be shooting some stop motion and rapid sequence photography using still cameras tonight. On smallest image setting on my camera, which is still just short of full HD rez, i can fit I think about 3500 images on my two CF cards.

From what is known about tonights ride, do you think it will be the 2nd slowest/shortest cubcamp? Like the first weeks ride?

LEVEL: "WEEK THREE" Faster (not fastest) paced, 25 - 35 miles, plenty of stops when necessary, never anyone left behind!
BTW, if your riding your fixie for the first time...that just sounds like there's good footage coming out of there!

Also keep in mind it could be great fun to reuse frames in interesting ways with editing. Would still be fairly short format, but it will be amazing, it will be avant guard cinema Cubcamp style. I was also thinking 24 fps to go for that cinematic feel.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to put in some fast paced miles this week, so that's why I was asking. I have ridden my fixie many times before, but not amongst a fast paced group, so I wanted to test myself.
Sorry if I sound picky, but coming from canoga park is a pita in itself, so I want to make sure I get a good ride in with a good group of people. ;-)

Speaking of all these bike-type drawbacks, I recently spied an old-ass, Peugeot roadbike in my friends', neighbors' backyard.
Thing looks a little scuffed, but I recon' all it needs is some tires/tubes, and a lil' lube.
With the current crunch I'm in right now, a used, light road-rig will have to serve me.
I'll see if I 15bucks could get take it off this guys hands.
